Located in the heart of Gibsons on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Advantage Dental has been proudly serving the community since 2004. Our small, dedicated team is known for advanced care, a gentle approach, and truly personalized service — all delivered in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Led by Dr. Samer Mudher, our mission is simple: to make every visit as easy, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. Whether you’re here for a routine checkup or a more complex treatment, we focus on what matters most — your health, your comfort, and your smile.

Dr. Mudher has been practicing dentistry for more than 15 years. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Manitoba, School of Dentistry, in 2010. After visiting the Sunshine Coast in 2012 and falling in love with the area, he joined the Advantage Dental team and made it home.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Mudher provides comprehensive dental care in all areas of general dentistry — including implants, root canals, crowns, and cosmetic treatments. His broad expertise allows him to care for patients of all ages. In addition to his practice, he contributes to several dental study clubs and teaches part-time at UBC Dentistry.

Advantage Dental also offers multiple options for sedation. Dr. Mudher is the only general dentist on the Sunshine Coast accredited for moderate sedation, providing patients with additional comfort and peace of mind.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Mudher is an active member of the Sunshine Coast community. He believes that meaningful healthcare begins with genuine connections — whether through community events, cycling, or time spent at the local golf club. He values understanding how social, cultural, and economic factors influence oral health and uses this insight to better serve his patients.

Dr. Mudher and his wife, Lisa, share a deep connection to the Sunshine Coast and are proud pet parents to two beloved fur babies.
